Here’s another small colour study. This time, the colours are derived from the waters and islands near St. Margaret’s Bay in Nova Scotia. It does not require framing and would be suitable for a small space in your home or office to remind you of the lovely colours found in our province.

This is a painting from one of my meandering trips through the Annapolis Valley. I think it is somewhere just past Hantsport, Nova Scotia where one of the tidal rivers flow into the province. It is an oil painting on a custom-made board that I prepare myself.

You can purchase this either framed or unframed, whichever you prefer. As an unframed painting, it measures about 5 x 7-inches. The nice thing about purchasing a painting unframed is that you can either frame it later or if you already have a frame available, you can use that.

As a framed painting, it is about 7 x 9-inches. I have my framemaker create custom frames for my work. The frames are a lovely deep mahogany colour with a nice weight and feel.
