This online workshop is designed to cut a clear path for you to express yourself through watercolor. We’ll look at key concepts, techniques and ideas to provide you with your own visual voice that will serve you well as you pursue and deepen your love of art through watercolors.

Within 24-hours after you register, you’ll receive a list of recommended materials and link to your online classroom. Additionally, I’ll create a private page on my website dedicated to you and your work. This is where you can post your work and I can provide feedback to you here.

Your workshop will include live streaming video, pre-recorded video, demonstrations, digital materials you may read online or print out. Your workshop notes and other auxiliary materials will be posted there on a weekly basis.

I’ll be able to answer your questions during the streaming video (each Tuesday evening) or you can post your questions to me via email or Skype.

The Best of Zazzle Weekly picked up my White Lilac card as part of their reporting this week. I have a number of images that are used on Zazzle cards and other items. Their printing and card stock is very good quality. Locally though, I have signed, hand pulled cards, please visit the Bogside Gallery in the Hydrostone Market next time you’re in the city and you’re looking for a card with that special personal touch or other items by Atlantic artisans.

The original White Lilac oil painting will be available in June through my show at the Art Sales and Rental Gallery. See you then!

Two of my paintings are accepted into this juried show: East Coast and Winter fields.

The Annual Group Show is a salon-style juried exhibition with over two hundred artists invited to participate from across Atlantic Canada. This is a rare opportunity to view the talent of emerging and established Nova Scotia artists in one venue.

The opening reception is on Thursday, November 5th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

(In preparation for the show, the gallery will close at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 1st and resume normal hours on Monday, November 2nd).

Normal gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10-5, Sunday & Monday 12-5, Thursday 10-9
