A view from Old Barns

A view from Old Barns
This view from Old Barns (just west of Truro, Nova Scotia) looks across the Bay of Fundy towards Fort Belcher and Masstown at low tide, revealing red mud flats that were submerged by 50-feet of water only 12 hours ago. The Bay of Fundy is competing to become one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. I hope it wins! Click here to visit the blog of one of the BOF’s champions for more details about this competition. We’ll know on January 7, 2009 if the BOF makes it into the next round or not. Stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks David! I didn’t know you lived there. How cool! A lot of my ancestors are from this area.
